description: medit/bin/Peppermint Soda chebang=#!/usr/bin/env .wiki cont=This is Gregor's unpatented peppermint soda, formulation 7. Other sodas are also included on this page.

===Ingredients===
2 1/2 cups water
3 Tbsp sugar
1/8 Tsp citric acid
1 Tbsp "imitation vanilla flavoring" (those using real vanilla extract will naturally need much less)
6 drops peppermint extract

===Recipe===
Add water and solids (sugar and citric acid) to a 20 oz bottle. Shake thoroughly to mix. Add remaining ingredients and shake again to mix. Refrigerate, carbonate, drink. Resulting soda will be clear if vanilla extract is used, pale caramel if imitation vanilla flavoring is used.

==Vanilla-Almond Soda==
(This one is still not perfect)

===Ingredients===
2 1/2 cups minus 2tbsp water
3 Tbsp sugar
1/8 Tsp citric acid
2 Tbsp "imitation vanilla flavoring" (those using real vanilla extract will naturally need much less, and more water)
6 drops almond extract
3 drops peppermint extract

===Recipe===

==Sparkling Lemonade==

===Ingredients===
2 1/2 cups minus 1tbsp water
2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 Tsp citric acid
6 drops lemon extract

===Recipe===
Add water and solids (sugar and citric acid) to a 20 oz bottle. Shake thoroughly to mix. Add remaining ingredients and shake again to mix. Refrigerate, carbonate, drink. Resulting soda will be clear.

Note that this isn't very sweet. If you like it sweeter, add more sugar (duh)!

==Gingersnap Soda==

===Ingredients===
* 2 1/2 cups minus 1tbsp water
* 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
* 1/8 tsp citric acid
* 1/8 tsp ground ginger
* 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
* 3 drops almond extract
* 3 drops peppermint extract

===Recipe===
Add water and solids to a 20 oz bottle. Shake thoroughly to mix. Add remaining ingredients and shake again to mix. Refrigerate. Separate remaining solids either by straining or by pouring carefully (the solids sink, so simply pouring from the top will separate them). Carbonate, drink. Resulting soda will be a very pale yellowish-orange.
